We started off our trip on Wednesday afternoon leaving Indianapolis around 4:00pm. On Wednesday night Lil Miss kept asking "Are we there yet"? But then I figured out that the bag of candy I had given her for the trip might not have been such a good idea so I hid the rest of the candy and she has been fine since.

She was not afraid of the Bay Bridge at all even though it was the biggest and longest bridge she had ever seen. And she loved going through the tunnel in the mountain in Pennsylvania.

Thursday afternoon when we hit the Eastern Shore we went to the Suicide Bridge restaurant. I got these HUGE jumbo lump crab cakes that were to die for. The G-man got fried soft shell crabs and I am sorry to say they botched them up. They weren't fried all the way and the legs were still white with flour. So we sent them back. The 2nd time they got it right though and the soft shells were crunchy and yummy. After we ate we walked out on the docks and let Lil Miss feed the ducks. Don't ever try to feed 50 ducks when you only have a handful of food. This one duck kept following us around. Lil Miss thought she had a new pet there for a while.

We got to my Moms house about 8PM and Lil Miss got to meet my mother's cat Patches for the first time. Now in addition to wanting a duck she wants a cat like Patches. That girl would have a zoo if she could.

This morning after a cup of coffee and a banana (breakfast of champions) we headed off to Assategue Island and had an absolute blast playing in the ocean. Lil Miss didn’t get knocked down by a wave (like she was afraid of) but she was laying on the sand at the edge of the surf and a big wave came up and water got in her nose. That pissed her off a bit but she still found the beach to be a fun experience and wants to move to Ocean City now.

Nowwe are back at the sister in laws house trying to get Lil Miss to have a little bit of quiet time before we head out to a seafood dinner in West Ocean City and then off to the board walk later tonight. I have a feeling it is going to be a late night tonight. See ya’ll later, and watch out for sand in your shorts!
