What gets me is that they couldn’t get the exchange refunded immediately because the bank puts a three-day hold on items in order to confirm a transaction is legitimate before transferring funds. Why couldn’t they just say “Duh…this isn’t legitimate”? No, they called it legitimate and then refunded the guy his money 3 days later. During that time though he was penniless and was afraid his mortgage check would bounce. I don’t think I would be using that Burger King again if I were he. Seriously, WTF?
