I forgot to post a couple of pictures from the Boardwalk in OC from our Maryland trip. Above is the famous shark at the Ripleys Believ It Or Not Museum. I’ve never been. And below is G-man, his sister Babs and her hubby walking the boards.

MONDAY
Back to the recap of our trip. Monday morning I called the court appointed attorney. He tells me that he has a deal in place where Sonny Boy will only have to answer to one charge and he will get probation for that and will be allowed to come home with us. He said that the courts would be busy on Tuesday and no one had time for ass-wipe’s theatrics. And he further said that no one wants to hear ass-wipe vent about what a miserable life he has. So therefore they were dropping all charges in any case that had anything to do with ass-wipe. They were so onto him and sick of him. I had to laugh!

G-man’s mother “tried” to make us breakfast. She bought a package of Pillsbury cinnamon buns and was going to bake them. She had some trouble opening the package so she was just going to throw them away. G-man opened them up for her though and put them on the baking sheet for her. He gets out of the shower and goes in the kitchen and asks if they are done. She says yes, they are probably burnt by now. And she just stands there. She doesn’t make a move to pull them out of the oven or anything. She was just ready to say yes they are burnt, lets throw them out. G-man pulled them out of oven and they were perfect. So he had to ice them and everything. The woman acted like she was proud that she was too feeble to pull a sheet of cinnamon buns out of the oven. Her martyr routine can get annoying at times.
After an awesome Red Door Sub sandwich we headed off to Baltimore to pick Sonny Boy up. I snapped a picture of the Bay Bridge. Some people are afraid to go over the Bay Bridge. If they have ever been in a boat and gone underneath the Bay Bridge they would really be afraid to go over the Bay Bridge. Several people died during the construction of the bridge and some are still in the concrete posts. How morbid. I forget how many miles of water it goes over but it’s not as scary to me as the Bay Bridge Tunnel in Virginia near Virginia Beach. Now that one scares me. I don’t like driving under water. Too freaky.

We checked into our dumpy hotel in Baltimore and then went to pick Sonny Boy up for dinner. We took him to the Double T diner. I would have posted a picture of all of the food but there was no room on the table because of all of the food. Words cannot describe that place. G-man used to go there with his family when he was a little kid, so it’s been around awhile. Since the 50’s I think. Baltimore is famous for it’s diners, thus the movie Diner. Anyway…the food… You got soup, salad, drink, entrée, roll and 2 veggies with dinner. And the portions were HUGE! I got the seafood dinner of course. Sonny Boy got a chicken Rueben sandwich with fries and G-man got this huge turkey dinner thing that was as big as a meat platter. He refused to throw the leftovers away and we carried that damned food around with us for 2 days in the cooler. I finally made him throw it out in Ohio.
TUESDAY
Tuesday dawned bright and clear. We picked Sonny Boy up and headed off to the courthouse in the town ass-wipe lives in 45 minutes away. Then I get a frantic call from Sonny Boys probation officer. They told her at the shelter that we had picked him up t take him back to Indiana and not to go to court. We were pulling into the parking garage at the court house so I assured her we would be in court. She was freaking out because she had gone to extra lengths to let us have time with Sonny Boy and it was against the rules and here she thought we were pulling a runner. No wonder she freaked. We get into the court house and go to the 3rd floor where the hearing will be held and there through the clear glass wall of the elevator we see ass-wipe. We just got off of the elevator and went the other way and sat down. You see on Friday ass-wipe had his lawyer asking if he could forgo having to show up in court because he was afraid. What a whimp. Later the probation officer and our lawyer showed up and our lawyer went up to ass-wipe’s lawyer and told her we wanted Sonny Boy’s belongings back that day. And they told ass-wipe he did not have to be there. So as we are going into court ass-wipe and his posse are being led away. He was too afraid to look any of us in the eye and he beat feet out of there like the P.U .._._Y. that he is. He found out that we can have him arrested for filing false charges against Sonny Boy. And he’d better be afraid because we still can.
In court the judge told Sonny Boy that he has a chance for a new life with me and that he would be best served to never have anything to do with his father again. They all really saw ass-wipe for what he is and they all hate him. After court the probation officer told us that she had a drug assessment officer go to ass-wipe’s apartment and talk to him. She wouldn’t go into what was said or done but she said that everyone firmly believes every word we have said about ass-wipe now. She also told Sonny Boy that he should never have anything to do with ass-wipe again and that he is a poor excuse for a human being. They all know he is a drug addicted piece of lying trash. Even his own lawyer can’t stand him and said some pretty horrible things about him. And quite a bit was said by everyone about ass-wipes poor hygiene and bad body odor and the trashy way he was dressed. He was dressed like he was going to a ball game or something. Trashy!
After we left the court we went to ass-wipe’s apartment and there were Sonny Boy’s things out on the landing. They were even too whimpy and scared to see us. We ended up throwing out a lot of the stuff because of the way it smelled. And I had to wash the remaining items twice because they smelled like ass-wipe and believe me he does not smell very nice. Then it was on the road back home.
We were in the mountains for a long time. Maryland is cool that way. You have the ocean and beaches and the bay and then at the other end of the state you have the mountains. Then there were the mountains of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It was quite pretty. I used to love the mountains.

We stopped for the night in Ohio. We were fortunate enough to be offered a suite at a regular room price. We jumped on that. And the hotel had a pool, Jacuzzi and game room. We had a blast. Here is Sonny Boy in the suite with his Batman mask. Don’t ask.

WEDNESDAY
We got home about noon Maryland time or 11am Indiana time, which ever way you look at it we made good time. The only down side of the trip on Wednesday was the McDonalds we stopped at. If you ever see a bus that says Toby Tours outside of a McDonalds, DON’T STOP! It was an elderly bus tour. And you know how they all take that Metamucil crap to stay regular. They were regular alright. I was in line in the bathroom for 25 minutes while all these older ladies took their morning constitutional. I should have just peed on the side of the highway. Next time I will. It was disgusting. You can only imagine.
I am still trying to catch up on my rest from the trip. Who knew it would have tired me out so much. How odd. I slept until noon today. I could sleep now. Goodnight.
